Does L'Étoile host private events and private dining?+
Yes. L'Étoile in Oyster Bay hosts semi-private dinners for up to 12 guests, full private dining for up to 20, and full buy-outs of the dining room for larger celebrations in the historic Snouder's Building on South Street.
What kinds of occasions do you host?+
L'Étoile hosts rehearsal dinners, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, corporate dinners, holiday gatherings, and celebrations of life — any night worth remembering, prepared with the same care as our regular French service.
How many guests can L'Étoile seat for a private party?+
Our largest standard table seats ten, and we can build a long table for twelve to fourteen with notice. Private dining accommodates up to twenty guests, and full buy-outs of the L'Étoile dining room are available for larger events.

Can the kitchen accommodate dietary needs for a private group?+
Yes. Tell us about any allergies or dietary preferences when you book your event at L'Étoile, and the kitchen will plan a menu with gluten-free-friendly, vegetarian, and vegan options as needed.
Can you build a custom or prix-fixe menu for our event?+
Yes. Beyond the à la carte menu, the L'Étoile kitchen can design a multi-course tasting or a prix-fixe menu for your group, with optional wine pairings from our French-led cellar. Mention it when you inquire.
